$9.75 - $10.50

Performance Responsibilities:
- Understands and Implements the Youth Development Strategy
- Maintains an orderly and clean area, as well as respect school property
- Performs clerical and housekeeping duties as required
- Performs as a positive role model
- Cooperates and communicates with all staff members
- Assists with program curriculum planning and instruction by producing a monthly calendar
- Participates with homework assistance during power hour
- Enforce all BGCGG & GGUSD policies and procedures
- Plan and implement daily activities in the After School Enrichment program
- Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and fieldtrips
- Fulfills minimum professional development hours each month- (2 hours)
- Completes required GGUSD para-professional training in accordance with NCLB legislation
- Sees that members and staff are recognized with positive reinforcement
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associates of Arts or equivalent in Education, Child Development or related fields
- Childcare/ Educational experience preferred
- Knowledge of group dynamics and age-appropriate activities for high school students
- Proven ability to interact with others in a positive manner
- Established skills in communication, both written and verbal
- Valid Photo ID
Skills Preferred:
- Bilingual capabilities a plus (Spanish, Vietnamese or Korean)
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Word Perfect, and other software programs
- Business and customer service experience an asset
